DOT Crew Finds Corpse Near Bridge

Workers with the state Department of Transportation found the body of a hispanic man a short distance of 3 feet from a road in Ball Ground on Tuesday.
The crew was doing roadwork on Ga. 372 near the Etowah River Bridge when they came across the body in an embankment at about 1:30 p.m., the county Sheriff’s Office said.
The man’s body was taken to the GBI crime lab for identification and cause of death.
