Fire Damages House of Knotts Circle

Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services and Woodstock Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire shortly before 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon at 317 Knotts Circle, off Highway 92, just east of Woodstock.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found smoke and flames coming from the roof of the two story structure. Firefighters did an offensive attack on the fire to prevent it from spreading to other portions of the house. The fire did extensive damage to the roof, plus the interior of the house had smoke, fire and water damage. No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
