Celebration Continues 'On the Range'

Bulls Eye Marksman would like to thank everyone for making the facility's Grand Opening month so successful. Many visitors have pitched in to help around the range, provide support to new shooters and help make Bulls Eye Marksman a great place to shoot and relax with friends.

The management team and staff are looking forward to many years of success and friendship with Forsyth County residents and invite everyone to stop in and visit soon.

Please note Bulls Eye Marksman's new hours, which are effective on November 1, 2005:

Monday - Closed

Tuesday through Friday - 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Saturday - 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Sunday - 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

 

Raffle Drawing

Group Membership Promotion Ends

Detonics USA to Test New Product at Bulls Eye Marksman

Jerry Ahern, CEO of Detonics USA , and Sid Woodcock, Detonics VP of Research and Development, will be on hand October 31st to answer questions about their new products.

Detonics USA plans to fire 30,000 rounds from their new 1911-01 over a four-day period in order to test the durability of this new weapon. You are invited to visit Bulls Eye Marksman to see this new model in action.

Bios On Our Visitors

JERRY AHERN

Jerry is President of Detonics USA , LLC, producers of John Rourke’s “¼ twin stainless Detonics .45s.”

Jerry and his wife, Sharon, are the authors of more than eighty novels published in over a half-dozen languages, sales numbering into the tens of millions in print format, as downloadable e-books and audio. Jerry is the author of more than a thousand articles, columns, features and interviews, and Sharon ’s photography appears in magazines and newspapers in the U.S. and abroad. The Aherns pioneered the field of post-holocaust SF adventure series with their twenty-nine novels chronicling the exploits of Dr. John Rourke, THE SURVIVALIST.

SID WOODCOCK

Mr. Woodcock is Vice-President for Research and Development of Detonics USA . He has more than 45 years of professional career experience as:

1. Weapons and explosive specialist

2. Federal Liaison for Special Operations Command (USSOC)

3. Consultant to multi-national corporations and Federal agencies in the areas of security and terrorism.

He has provided skilled services in the design of weaponry and explosives and in bomb investigation and has trained the U.S. Navy Seals and worked with 5th Special Forces. Woodcock has designed, patented, tested and produced full semi-automatic weapons of which over ten thousand were manufactured. He holds patents in the design of explosive devices and explosives formulations. Much of his work has been in the nuclear energy field, primarily with the Department of Energy.

Woodcock holds the rank of grand master in the art of Shaolin Kung Fu, a Sash in China Na., 5th Degree Black Belt in Aikido and Judo.
