Craig Sweet, Forsyth County Resident who set out to tackle the Appalachian Trail on April 3rd, is doing quite well. As of this writing, Craig was a little ahead of schedule, 150 miles up the trail, just beyond Franklin, North Carolina.

Craig was a little surprised by the colder weather we have had this spring, but has managed to average 8 miles per day so far.

Next week, Craig will be entering the most dangerous part of the southern half, with very little access to the outside world.
