We all expect blood to be there for us, but barely a fraction of those who can give blood themselves do. Yet sooner or later, virtually all of us will face a time of great vulnerability in which we will need blood. And that time is all too often unexpected.

To help support the availability of blood within our community, Midway United Methodist Church hosts quarterly American Red Cross Blood Drives. In addition to donors, volunteers are needed to register donors and serve as a host/hostess for the snack areas.

The next blood drive at Midway UMC is scheduled for July 19, 2006, 2-7pm. Please consider helping your local community by giving the gift of life.
