Step away from the insistent demands of cell phones and watches!

Allow yourself to slowly enter the Silence and Stillness, readily recalled on the sacred land of Cedar Hill. Just for awhile, let it all go, and let yourself be attentively guided through simple meditation techniques, reflective spiritual readings, gentle meditative labyrinth walks, deep listening of impelling classical music, insightful times of journaling, heightened awareness of senses and more. This retreat will begin Friday evening with a "talking supper," followed by a thorough orientation, after which our time of silence begins and will blissfully continue through either Saturday or Sunday afternoon, depending on your choice of a one- or two-day experience.

Several on-site overnight accommodations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, as are several nearby motels. Or, you may choose to go home at night and return in the morning. This retreat is meant for those who are both experienced and non-experienced in meditation, and is intended to deepen individual spiritual practices, encourage listening of True Self, and enjoy a reconnection with Spirit, Earth and, silently, with one another. Participants will leave refreshed, awakened to the Stillness within, and more keenly present and aware as they return to daily lives. Limited to 20 participants.

The retreat will be facilitated by the staff of Cedar Hill Enrichment Center and Dahlonega Healing Arts. Cedar Hill, a non-profit center of spirituality and Earth education, is located at 5735 Dawsonville Highway in Gainesville (Forsyth County).

Dates : Friday, June 2, 2006 7:00-9:00pm (Orientation), Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 (11:00am)

Fee: $195.00 (includes beverages & 5 meals) Friday night & Saturday only $125.00
