Through the use of L.B.C. and Google Maps, you can put your local business ‘on the map’ – literally!

Google is offering some pretty amazing and free opportunities for local businesses and this creates an important avenue for small businesses to do far better on SEO (Search Engine Optimization). 

But, that’s only the tip of the iceberg! Google is offering up a lot of service here. Why? It’s in Google’s best interest to be THE search engine people look to when searching for something. Plus, they’re hoping you might go ahead and sign up for their AdWords program – which is a great program by the way.

Whether you choose to advertise your business through AdWords or not, you can still take advantage of the myriad of FREE services on Google Maps and Local Business Center.

Make sure when you sign up, you add plenty of pictures of your business, your friendly staff, your products or examples of services. And don’t forget to add video! Video offers a wealth of additional search opportunities – ways for people to find your business. Video is also the platform that is fastest growing on the web. Did you know in the next 10 years most of what is posted on the web will be in video format? 

Add some coupons to your Local Business Center profile as this will give incentive for new customer’s to check out your business or organization. It will only take an hour or so for you to fill in your information and set up your account on good and then, BAM! you’ll have increased your visibility and searchability – vitally important components in today’s contracted marketplace.
