North Forsyth High School FBLA Program takes 2nd in National Competition

Please join in congratulating the NFHS FBLA American Enterprise Project (AEP) team for their 2nd place award in national competition. The AEP team, Aanal Patel, Greg Jones, and Keyla Santos presented the school’s project where FBLA students ran a small business teaching merit badges to Boy Scouts in the local area.
The 58th annual National Leadership Conference was held in Anaheim, California June 25-28, 2009 with record attendance of over 7,500 participants. Also competing from North Forsyth High School were Christopher Rush, Lauren Barnes, and Morgan LeQuire in Community Service Project, Taylor Pruitt and Natalie Hoza in Business Plan, and Christopher Rush in Technology Concepts. To qualify for national competition, these students placed first or second in state competition last March.
