The Forsyth County Master Gardeners ' Fall/Winter Library Series continues with Jane Shoenberger demonstrating the how-to's of infusing berry and herbal vinegars. This free class will be held at the Central Park Rec Center from 1-3pm on Saturday, December 5.

Jane will use a step-by-step process from:

• finding recycled bottles
• preparing them for use
• types of vinegar that can be used as a base
• herbs/materials needed
• infusing vinegars

to

• completing the process of filling
• corking
• labeling &
• decorating your bottle

Valuable information and great recipes for using vinegars will also be shared. Come learn how to make great Christmas gifts from yor own kitchen and/or garden!

Jane Shoenberger, Owner Gourmet Herb n' Gardens, has completed three Master Gardener courses in Ohio, Florida and Georgia. In 1996, Jane established Gourmet Herb & Garden Connection, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio and conducted lectures, classes, workshops,videos and tours. Her company produced a gourmet line of herb products sold across the U.S. In April 1996, Jane's company also won a prestigious award at the Ault Park International Flower Show (Cincinnati, OH) for her herb display which housed over 800 herbs, edibles, trees and other plant materials. Jane and her husband, Charlie, moved to Forsyth County in 2006.
