The Forsyth County Family YMCA will have the first annual Golf Fore Kidz golf tournament on Monday, May 3rd, 2009. The charity golf tournament is hosted at the beautiful Polo Golf & Country Club. The event is for the YMCA’s Partner With Youth Program to help kids and families participate in YMCA programs who otherwise would be unable to afford a membership or programming.

According to John Hoover, YMCA board member and event chair, “This is an opportunity for area businesses and residents to enjoy a fun day of golf and fellowship while helping families and youth.”

The event kicks off with Registration at 10:00 a.m. and a Shotgun Start at 11:00 a.m. with a Scramble format. There will be great prizes for the golfers in addition to a box/bag lunch and an awards reception afterwards.

The YMCA is looking for sponsors on all levels from Event Partners, Hole in One Sponsors, to Individual Golfer sponsors. All donations are tax deductible.
