In celebration of the Christmas season, The River United Methodist Church will offer two family-friendly Christmas Eve events.

Cookies and Carols – Too much shopping, not enough singing? Get ready for Christmas by singing your favorite Christmas Carols, and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate. This is a great chance to gather your family and prepare for Christmas together. All are welcome! Nursery available.
5:00pm, December 24

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service – Our Christmas Eve service is one of the most important and beautiful times of the year. We gather together to celebrate the birth of our savior with song, scripture and candlelight. All are invited to join us in celebration this holy night, and experience the true joy and hope of Christmas! Nursery and Children’s Activities available. A special offering will be taken to benefit Forsyth County Community Connection.

The River United Methodist Church places a high priority on community involvement and service. As a neighborhood church, The River hopes to strengthen families and encourage friendship throughout activities as well as worship and learning opportunities. The congregation is delighted to be able to offer this family-friendly evening to its neighbors.

The River United Methodist Church is a new congregation starting in southeast Forsyth County. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and the life of our community. Worship services are held on Sundays at 11:00am at Sharon Elementary School, 3595 Old Atlanta Road, Suwanee, GA 30024.
