The NWS Has Issued Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect Until 5 Pm Edt This Afternoon For The Following Areas In Georgia. This Watch Includes 41 Counties In Central Georgia Butts, Jasper, Jones, Monroe, Putnam In North Central Georgia Barrow, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Dawson, Dekalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Morgan, Newton, Pickens, Rockdale, Walton In Northwest Georgia Bartow, Carroll, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Paulding, Polk, Walker, Whitfield In West Central Georgia Coweta, Heard, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding, Troup, Upson This Includes The Cities Of, Atlanta, Barnesville, Bremen,, Calhoun, Carrollton, Cartersville, Cedartown, Conyers,, Covington, Cumming, Dallas, Dalton, Dawsonville, Decatur,, Douglasville, Eatonton, Forsyth, Franklin, Gray, Griffin,, Jackson, Jasper, Lawrenceville, Madison, Manchester,, Marietta, Monroe, Monticello, Newnan, Peachtree City,, Riverdale, Rome, Stockbridge, Summerville, Thomaston,, Thomaston, Trenton, West Point, Winder, Woodstock And Zebulon.
