FORSYTH COUNTY ASKS FOR HELP IN LOCATING VEHICLE OF HOMICIDE VICTIM

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is appealing to the public to help locate the vehicle belonging to the victim of a homicide that occurred earlier this week.

Capt. Paul Taylor of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said the agency is looking for a 1994 Lexus LS 400, gold in color. It bears the Georgia tag #AHQ 0894.

This vehicle belongs to Octavia Nicole Atkins who was the victim of a homicide this week. Her body was found on Tuesday in an abandoned home on Union Hill Road in south Forsyth County.

“We’re asking for the public’s help,” said Capt. Taylor. “If anyone sees this vehicle and it is occupied, please do not approach it. Call 911 immediately and report it to your nearest law enforcement agency. If the vehicle has been abandoned and is located, please do not touch it. Call 911.”

Anyone with any information about this vehicle can also call the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office at 770-781-2200 or 770-781-3087.
