More than 30 ladies from the Laurel Springs Angel Network cooked their hearts out last Friday to honor the community's firefighters of Fire Station #10 on the anniversary of 9/11. The Angel Network is a group of dedicated Laurel Spring women who work on various charitable ventures to serve others in the Forsyth community throughout the year. They prepared main dishes, side dishes and desserts that the firefighters can freeze and enjoy.

The ladies had no stress or kitchen mess thank to the generosity of Super Suppers owners, Missy McDaniel and Cindy Loftin. Super Suppers handled all the shopping, chopping and mopping! Our ladies had easy-to-follow recipes, the right ingredients and cooking instructions to create a variety of special meals for the firefighters. Some of the many prepared meals included Heavenly Chicken, Twice Baked Potatoes and Berry-Apple Crisp.

McDaniel delivered the meals to Super Suppers on Monday, September 11. "We are honored to provide our local firefighters healthy, nutritious dinners. As part of the local community, we hope that everyone will take a moment to appreciate all the hard work the firefighters do for everyone.

The mission of Super Suppers is to bring families back to the dinner table one meal at a time. Since the firefighters cannot be at home with their families, they will be able to sit down together with their "work" family and enjoy a fabulous dinner", said McDaniel.
