Lake Lanier Association Letter to State Legislators

Last week, the Lake Lanier Association sent letters to the state legislators listed below urging them to protect Lake Lanier from Florida and Alabama's legal attacks on recreation as an authorized purpose of the lake, and to support raising the lake level to 1073.
You may read the letter and summary fact sheet on our Web site and also read the overview of the evidence that recreation is a fully authorized purpose.
Copies of the letter were also sent to our federal lawmakers, Governor Perdue and Corps officials.

Dear Association Members, I dont know who represents you but your council sucks wind and is using your emotions unknowlingly. You have been in business for over 31 years and hve failed. Stop being emotional and look at the facts... The Governor has FULL CONTROL of this state.I have simple proof of that.. Otherwise,, we would have a 4 star general running the operations of this state. The Governor of EVERY state has 'exclusive authority' over the Federal Authority.
I've studied constitutional law for 10 years now. I am not a lawyer but, can interpert laws in favor of Us as Citizens with some help. If you could get lawyers to volunteer time in the right direction as a whole Group-. It would be good.
