Mrs. Corene Almond Roberts, age 74 of Dawsonville, GA passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of Hightower Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, William Artie Roberts and sons, Jackie and Richard Almond. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Vama and Johnny Holtzclaw of Dawsonville; Sons and daughter's in-law, J.R. and Patty Almond of Winder, Danny Almond of Dawsonville and Mark and Lisa Almond of Cumming; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grand child; sisters and brother-in-law, Sue Mollohan of Flowery Branch, Pat and Jim Rowlands of Ocala, FL, Chris Edwards of Murrayville; brother and sisters-in-law, Rufus and Evelyn Patterson of Dahlonega and Estell Patterson of Dahlonega; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Coffey and Rev. Tony Holtzclaw officiating. Interment will follow in Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega. The family will receive friends Friday, January 8th from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm and Saturday, January 9th from 9:00 am - until time of service.
