Mrs. Doris N. Roper, age 86 of Cumming, GA passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwin Roper. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Larry C. Roper of Buford, Michael E. and Kathy Roper of Sandy Springs; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Randle Fields of Cumming and Becky and Bob Bradley of Franklin, NC; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Byrd, Rev. Bud Sutton and Rev. Ronnie McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 6th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
