Mrs. Mary Baker, age 69 of Tate, GA, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009. She was a member of Conns Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Hoyt Thomas Baker. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Danny Smith of Canton; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Hanna Baker of Jasper and Rev. Danny & Pam Baker of Canton; grandchildren, Craig Smith and Hannah and Micah Baker; sister, Geraldine Jones of Roswell; sister-in-law, Maureen Kirby of Smyrna; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Patsy and Jerry Wilson of Florida, Kathryn and Skip Weiss of Canton and Nancy and Bobby Gravitt of Jesup, GA. Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 4:00 pm at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Boling, Rev. Steve Chadwick, Rev. Barry Payne and Rev. Jerry Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 29th from 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday, Aug. 30th from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
