Mrs. Norma Jean Ingram, of Cumming, born October 1, 1931 in Kinston, GA (Bartow County) to the late Henry Lewis and Annie Mae Cook Young, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2009. Mrs. Ingram was a member of Ball Ground United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Ingram; sister, Virginia (Gin) Young Hawkins; brothers, Albert Henry, Joe and Robert Young. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Lauri and Quentin Evans of Cumming, Connie Ingram of Canton; sons and daughter-in-law, Randall and Beth Ingram of Ball Ground, David G. Ingram of Ball Ground, brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Valjean Young of Dunwoody and Jack Young of Long Island, NY; grandsons and granddaughter-in-law, Adam and Katie Evans of Dawsonville and Kerry Holcomb of Ball Ground; and a number of other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 22nd at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Connell officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Interment will be at the Ball Ground Community Cemetery in Ball Ground. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
