Mr. Richard Darnell, age 48 of Cumming, GA, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009. He was a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his spouse, Cindy Darnell of Cumming; parents, Lewis and Hazel Darnell of Cumming; step-daughter, Emily Rice of Dawsonville; brothers and sister-in-law, Dan Darnell of Cumming, Morris and Cynthia Darnell of Cumming; father-in-law, Larry Hulsey of Suches; mother-in-law, Jane Hulsey of Dahlonega; sisters-in-law, Renita Hulsey and Neena Hulsey both of Dahlonega; brother-in-law, Shawn Hulsey of Cumming; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Carnes, Rev. Carlton Coker, Rev. Scott Darnell and Rev. Charles Blackstock officiating. Interment will follow at Daves Creeks Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 1st from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and Wednesday, Sept. 2nd from 9:00 am until time of service. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
