Mrs. Sara Monroe Sharp, age 67 of Thomaston, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009. She was a loving mother and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Talmadge M. Sharp, daughter Dana Hall and brothers Jerry P. Monroe, Sr. and Gene R. Monroe. Survivors include her sons Ricky Sharp and Kenneth Sharp both of Thomaston; sister Virginia and Roswell Story of Marietta; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 24th at 4:00 pm at Coal Mountain Cemetery with Rev. Joe Hulsey officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 till 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 1:00 till 4:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
