It is surprising how evasive the news reporting on this accident is. Failure to recognize and report that a female county employee who happens to be the sheriff's girlfriend was also injured seems to be a big secret in Forsyth County. If one is to be viewed as a reliable news reporter it appears as if omitting is nearly as bad as lying.

The sheriff made his bed so let’s be honest in allowing him to wallow in it as he freely chooses to. Hiding the real story is nether fair to your readers nor to the sheriff’s wife. Put the cards on the table as it should be or else be put in the same dishonest category as the Forsyth County News. God forbid that ever happening! Cover up, hide, conspire, and omit….not what real journalism is about.

What the heck does it matter if the Sheriff has a girlfriend or a friend that is a girl for that matter? How does that prohibit him from running an accredited agency with low turnover and low citizen complaints?

David Milum has become the town fool. He has a nice, safe little place to rant over at his website, where he and the married Mrs. Pruitt can become masters of the universe.

Has anyone considered the possibility that Milum makes these accusations against the sheriff to cover up his own indiscretions with a married woman? One could only wonder if it was he and Mrs. Pruitt who set up Mr. Pruitt on criminal charges and tried to make it appear that it was our law enforcement who did it.

After all, Mr. Milum is responsible for the death of another person, and there have been prior charges made against him. I seem to remember that he was arrested for assaulting a woman a few years ago.

One can rightly deduce that most men who hate women also hate children, at least female children. Is it possible that the obvious woman hater Milum is also an evil force who would set up someone on child pornography charges?

I think this needs to be investigated.

Do we have any indictments in a court of law against Sheriff Paxton for "stealing"? No? Because a court of law is where I would expect to see charges of "stealing" proved.

And I somehow missed the charges in a court of law where Paxton has "set up innocent citizens". I'm not even sure what charge that would be, Moron, do you? Is there such a thing as being charged with "setting up innocent citizens"? You may wish to consult a real attorney on that one.

Of course, maybe a real attorney might have kept you and the Rainman from Rome from filing Writs of Mandamus in Forsyth County Superior Court against the Sheriff, Fire Chief and Insurance Commissioner. It might have saved you the embarrassment of having a press conference where no one showed up to listen to you, and the further embarrassment of having them withdrawn without action.

And, of course, we have yet to see any indictments in a court of law against ANYONE else you've accused of wrongdoing in your many wasted years of so-called "corruption fighting", have we? Yet in that time, YOU'VE lost two libel cases brought against you, lost a case you brought against mean ol' Marcie Kreager for - what was it now? - assault or harrassment (I can't remember which one - they all blur after a while), and had a complaint against ME dismissed out of hand from Magistrate Court.

What's it like, Moron Milum, to have lived a life where you have accomplished nothing, except to earn the laughter and scorn of an entire county's worth of people?

Dennis Stockton, who built the news paper into a journalistic entity that any community would be proud to have

Leslie Abernathy, who has done a great job working in a cramped space with little recognition.

Penny Penn, who, if you've ever watched her in court is a very competent district attorney

David Richard, who, while I don't care for his abrasiveness, is the one commissioner who never sat there and said anything except what he truly believed.

I think the honest citizens in the county know just how out of sync they are and to not take anything they say remotely seriously. I am devastated. Please stop, you guys are killing me. Since 1998 I have struggled to reveal Forsyth County for what it is; a place where innocent Citizens are set up by a dirty solicitor, rouge cops remain on the force that commit adultery and set up husbands for child molestation and attack little handicapped children, judges come in shapes and smells that resemble horse droppings, and a county sheriff who could not possibly be concerned more with his drooping extremities. A place where nasally out of work Yankees move in and use “WE” like they now own the place yet just can’t seem to mange to keep their grass cut so their neighbors won’t be embarrassed of their neighborhood.

Try as you may the work shall go on. Working on corruption in this county required growing a very think skin but then I guess some have noticed that already. I would suggest however that management look over their posts and let their conscience be their guide. The only thing I am jealous of is other counties that seem to be more honest and actually have some notion what Political Integrity and Morality means. I only wish that applied here.

First - get well, Sheriff. I have been impressed by your professionalism and am glad you have been doing what you do for our county.

Second - it is so embarassing to "typical" residents of this county that this type of dialogue continues between otherwise grown men. DM: For those who do not know Sheriff Ted Paxton you'd think he was the nicest guy around. But for those of us who really know who this character really is by his dishonest acts the story is much different indeed. Even the past commissioner who rattles on and on here chastised the Sheriff and saw to it that the Sheriff’s budget was whittled down by four million I think it was. The truth? Paxton and his GBI reject of a Department Chief set up a very innocent cop by the name of Sgt. Scott Pruitt. Pruitt’s best friend from childhood at the time of the set up but now his present wife was robbed by FCSO Sgt. Stephen Bradley. Firstly, Bradley made off with several of her blank checks, a cell phone, and had charged several websites on her credit card. He also had in his possession other belongings including Ms. Pruitt’s house keys. Ms. Pruitt simply asked that cop Bradley hand back over her property, no more. Cop Bradley refused and kept turning her cell phone back on after he hacked into her computer to retrieve the pass code for her phone account. [Verified] Cop Bradley had previously rented a room in Ms. Pruitt’s home.

Ms. Pruitt went to Sheriff Paxton and asked for help. The cordial demand to the sheriff was; “all I want is the return of my property.” Sheriff Paxton refused to intercede. Ms. Pruitt approached the Ga. Sheriff’s Association, same story there so she proceeded to contact the Governor’s Office wherein she had friends. The Governor’s Office called FCSO Chief Robbie Hamrick in an effort to settle the matter. Twenty minutes later Hamrick called Ms. Pruitt with this: “if you think that you calling the Governor’s Office has anything to do with me calling you…you won’t be living in Forsyth County for very long”. This was the FCSO Mafioso talking through a past GBI stooge who squatted in Forsyth County.

Sgt. Pruitt went with his best friend to retrieve her house keys in a parking lot wherein Sgt. Pruitt recorded Cop Bradley. Shortly thereafter a case was made against Sgt. Pruitt for child porn. The actual charge was patiently false and NO evidence exists wherein Sgt. Pruitt committed any crime at all. Nationally recognized and respected Forensic Examiners have conclusively documented that NO CRIME was committed and that prosecutors have nothing but continue to persecute Sgt. Pruitt for two years and two months even though no adverse evidence exist. ZERO!

Now, if this was one of your family members who has been held hostage by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Mafioso how would you handle it? So you see the dishonest sheriff that you believe is good for us isn’t. You had to find out somewhere.

It will be very interesting to see how this mess turns out. I have never seen an entire family fight so hard including the child and her teachers involved. I have had the pleasure of knowing this family for four years. We met in softball with our children. As I have watched this story unfold I went from being so scared from the child involved playing softball with my child to welcoming her into my home at any given time. I do not know how Ms Pruitt has the strength to continuously fight everyday for what is right and for she knows is the truth, and for the child I pray for her everyday that today will be the day to bring her father back to her. If people would take the time and read the forensic reports like I have and actually seen the political assassination as I have you to would feel the same. Mrs. Pruitt keep up the spirit and the courage and God will take care of your family. God Bless the Pruitts!

A tidbit for you Milum...as Danny said, Paxton may like his cars a little too much but the sheriffs department is one we can be proud of. Bound to be a few problems but overall it is a great department.

At the board meeting tonight the sheriffs department was recognized for have the most "Exemplary Neighborhood Watch" in the nation. That's right, moron, the nation. Recognized by law enforcement around the country and the only one to receive the award.

But I suppose all your investigative efforts didn't find that, huh?

No one can take away the good things that the FCSO does including me. I speak of the bad things that cannot be neutralized by a few good deeds. You have the luxury of not knowing about the many evil deeds that make the FCSO rotten to its core. Set up one innocent Citizen and you kill off any respect that you might have garnered previously. The problem? There have been numerous innocents set up by the rotten FCSO not to mention millions is thievery, misuse, and waste.

There is not one Citizen who has more respect for a good cop than me. The real shame of this is that someone of Paxton’s sorry ilk spoils it for everyone on the force. The first thing I'd be seriously concerned with if a cop from Forsyth County came to my door would be; is this guy a Devil worshiper or a bomb maker? Does he have Devil worshiping clothing in his home? Does he study Satanic rituals on our county computers? Has he threatened to eat his gun by way of suicide? Has he threatened to ‘get’ innocent Citizens supported by email proof? Does he commit adultery with married and unmarried women? Does he plot to send innocent husbands to prison so he can have sex with the innocent mans wife? Does he drunkenly attack little autistic children with screaming and a gun? Has he abandoned his wife so he can ride motorcycles with another county employee half his age? Has he endangered the lives of Citizens by lying and conspiring?

These very true allegations do not create confidence in a Sheriff’s Office that is the absolute lowest of the low. Winning a little award every now and then will never wipe clean the untold harm this poor excuse for a sheriff and a real man has caused. Just imagine how his poor sweet wife feels with his heartless sex escapades lathered all over the media.

If you are under the impression that good comes close to any sort of description of Ted Paxton you are an absolute fool. The man is the epitome of Evil. And that is my opinion and I’ll be sticking to it. The lawyers have these facts in their files right now and soon enough they will use them to their client’s best advantage. Bank on it!

Charlie, I agree completely with the sentiment, but as you already know, of course, there is no way to stop David Milum from this nonsense. However, there is a reason he is posting on Cumminghome.com. It is because here, unlike at his own site, people are responding to him. If you notice, at his site, no one responds to him. There are literally hundreds of posts with no responses whatsoever. The few that actually do have responses, are from either Milum himself or from one or two others.

I believe if his comments here were ignored as they are on his own site, he would simply find himself another sandbox.

I cannot understand how people condone the acts of our Sheriff on a day to day basis. First he is accused of having a girlfriend while he is married. Then it is confirmed and you all are still saying he can do no wrong? What happened to morals? Many other political figures have stepped down when the public learns of their adulterous activities. What actual church in Forsyth County condones adulterous affairs? I understand his wife is very active in the church she attended s regularly. Maybe Ted needs to go with her to figure out he can not have his cake and eat it too. So how is Milum so wrong for standing up for what is right is right and wrong is wrong?

This is a private matter and for what I can understand the Sheriff has not come out and admitted an affair. So no story there. First: Steve has my full permission to tell all readers if I post anonymously. I never have and I never will. I really don’t like anonymous chickens and I most certainly couldn’t stand to look at one in the mirror every day.

Second: I have no need for anyone to agree with me. I post what I feel at the time, apparently as all of you do. For those that can’t handle the truth then I highly suggest that when you see my posts DO NOT READ THEM! If you are of such low moral integrity that you do not find fault with adulterers, thieves, and liars on or off the clock then that is also your problem. Forth: Your sheriff created a special OWN RECOGNISENCE BOND for his girlfriend to get out of jail the night she was incarcerated for drunk driving with her child in the car with her. I have that document. The sheriff also got her a job with the Water & Sewer Dept. Yes, I verified that with Tim Perkins the Director of Water & Sewer. This was not done on personal time. Ted also set up his own men for crimes that never happened. For that he will pay in a court of Law. There will be an actual Federal Judge and Jury for that one.

Fifth: Our undistinguished sheriff could have killed a Forsyth County employee in his accident. She is not at work to my knowledge and it is highly possible that she could receive your tax dollars because the sheriff hurt her. That will also be our business.

Sixth: I know the sheriff’s lovely wife and in my opinion she does not deserve being treated like dirt. I don’t give a hoot if he does it on county time or off. I’d feel exactly the same if it was anyone wife. It does no one any good to hide these facts.

I see it everyday I drive down the road and spot two brand new chargers parked side-by-side in hiding doing nothing more than sitting on the clock with their engines running, burning up gas and shooting the breeze, On Lake Lanier, when they're out fishing on their brand new center console boats or souped up wave runners. We live in Forsyth county, not the inner city. All of this is wasteful spending, but yet property taxes continue to rise, tickets continue to be written for more and more absurd reasons, and our kids are fearing the police force, rather than having respect for them.

Well, times are changing. The people are starting to voice their concerns over the gross abuse of power and that fact became evident when the referendum for a new jail was shot down with 92% of the vote...
