Due to the completion of Peachtree Parkway (GA Highway 141) just outside the main entrance to school, future traffic patterns for entering and exiting the campus will change. On the recommendation of the FCS Safety Department and the GA DOT, the traffic pattern for South Forsyth High School will be adjusted during arrival and departure times.
Between the times of 7:45 am and 8:30 am, and from 3:40 pm to 4:00 pm, all traffic exiting the campus onto Peachtree Parkway will be required to use the Northern Exit for right turns only. No left turns will be allowed, and no exit at all through the Main Entrance. A law enforcement officer will be posted to assist with traffic flow during these times.
At 3:45, or after all buses have departed, the gate along War Eagle Drive on the south side of campus (leading to East Hall and the athletic fields) will be opened to allow exit onto Ronald Reagan Parkway.
During all other times, left turns from the Main Entrance will be permitted. Left turns are never permitted from the Northern Exit.

There was originally to be a traffic signal at the intersection of Spring Valley Drive and SR141 across from South Forsyth H.S. Is that no longer a part of the plan? Also the new sign that shows that Spring Valley Drive is ahead to the left reads "Spring Valley Rd" when it should be Spring Valley Drive. Thank you.
