Temporary Closing of Holtzclaw Road Announced

Holtzclaw Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, July 13. The road is expected to re-open Monday, July 20. Residents will need to use Chattahoochee Road or SR 306 as an alternate route during the closure. Holtzclaw Road is being reconstructed to improve the road’s alignment. The travel lanes and shoulders also will be widened to improve safety. The road widening and paving will be complete before school opens in August. Funding for the improvements to Holtzclaw Road comes from SPLOST VI. Forsyth County appreciates your patience during this work.

In case you are thinking you have an excuse to sleep in on Sunday..........think again! =)
There will be Holtzclaw Road access to Good Shepherd via SR 306.
Glad to see this getting done. Holtzclaw has long needed improvements and this will help the traffic flow in the area.
