Dawson County Library Offers Exciting Programs for Children

Express yourself and be creative at the library! The Chestatee Regional Library System will hold their annual Vacation Reading Program throughout the summer. Come explore your artistic side at the library for the summer. Children can register for the program anytime through July 31st. The more books you read the more prizes you can win. The program is open to children of all ages and who are a resident of Georgia.
The following programs will be held at the library on Wednesdays at 11 am during July:
Magician Arthur Atsma
Wednesday, July 1 • 11 a.m.
Join sleight of hand artist and magician extraordinaire Arthur Atsma for a dazzling display of magic!
Family Honor Music
Wednesday, July 15 • 11 a.m.
Celebrate Appalachian instruments and song with this exciting group!
Smithgall Woods State Park
Wednesday, July 22 • 11 a.m.
Snakes Alive! Join the folks from Smithgall Woods (and a few of their slithery friends) for this live reptile program.
