Given the current conditions of the real estate market, many homes are sitting on the market for longer than sellers may like. With foreclosures on the rise and more homeowners upside down in their mortgage, “For Sale” signs are inundating neighborhoods across Atlanta.

As part of an effort to jump start the Atlanta real estate market, the Atlanta Regional Chapter of IAHSP has launched a home staging contest that runs through April 20. One lucky winner in the Atlanta area will receive a complimentary home staging. Contest applicants must have a home listed by a Real Estate Agent for at least 90 days that is currently owner occupied.

“So many sellers have had their homes on the market for months, and they’re desperate to sell. The current market is very stressful for sellers. Our goal in launching this contest is to alleviate some of that stress by providing the sellers renewed hope for getting their house sold,” said Michelle Yackel , President-Elect of the IAHSP Atlanta Regional Chapter. “We’ve seen time and again how ASP Staging transforms a house into one that buyers love and want to buy.”
