Bearden Recognized for Distinguished Service

The 2009 Annual Conference of the Georgia Coroner’s Association was held September 17 – 19 in Macon Georgia.
Dawson County Coroner, Ted Bearden, was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for his continued exemplary service and dedication to the Coroner’s of Georgia.
Coroner Bearden has served on the executive board of the Coroner’s Association for several years and served as President in 2008.
Although his term on the Board has ended, he has promised to continue to be actively involved in the issues currently facing the association, especially the governmental affairs.
