Jennifer Holtzclaw Darnell, 48, of Dawsonville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday January 27, 2010 at her residence following a sudden illness.

Born April 6, 1961 in Forsyth County, she lived in Dawson County for the past eleven years.  Mrs. Darnell was a 1979 graduate of Forsyth County High School and was a member of Cumming New Life Church.  She was formerly married to Dan Darnell and was preceded in death by her mother, Trentha Holtzclaw.

Surviving are her children, Holly and Jason Rich, Cumming, Bradley and Courtney Darnell, Cumming, Whitney and Kyle Hollingsworth, Dawsonville; father, Maston Holtzclaw, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Elijah Hollingsworth, Owen Darnell, Tanner Darnell, Ethan Hollingsworth, Baleigh Rich; sisters, Robin H. Sims, Gainesville, Melanie Martin, Cumming, Tammy Shirley, Dawsonville, Julie Holtzclaw, Athens; brothers, Shayne Holtzclaw, Dawsonville, Tracy Holtzclaw, Dawsonville, and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday January 30, 2010 at 1 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. David Harris will officiate.
