Ray Anderson Flowers, 72, of Dawsonville, GA died January 3, 2010 at the Chestatee Regional Hospital.

Born December 12, 1937 in Ozark, AL to the late Ray and Oleeta Flowers, Mr. Flowers moved to Dawson County three years ago from Hartselle, AL.  He retired from 3M after 30 years of service and was devoted to his family, friends and religious service.  Mr. Flowers was a member of the Dawsonville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Surviving are his children, Joel and Kerry Flowers, Rio Linda, California, Gayle and Paul Jones, Dawsonville, GA, Susan and Richard Roberts, Fayetteville, NC, Kathy Miller and Harvey Barth, Spring Hill, FL, Brad and Kelly Flowers, Huntsville, AL, Ben and Stephanie Flowers, Thompson Station, TN, Ellyn and Justin Cutler, Brentwood, TN; sister, Rentha Flowers, Lake Mary, FL; brother, David Flowers, West Simsbury, CT; 13 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday January 9, 2010 at 3 o’clock at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Dawsonville, Georgia.
