Forsyth County business, Qwizzy’s World (QW), recently held a contest for Forsyth County teachers, whereby QW would give away 10-12 pound turkeys, courtesy of Rick Tanner’s Grille & Bar in Cumming, to the teachers whose lucky tickets were drawn during the very first ‘QW Contest for Teachers,’ which ended on midnight, November 7, 2009.
To qualify, teachers had to be employed by a school participating in the QW School campaign then sign up with QW atwww.QWConnection.com
. One teacher per school was selected as a winner on November 9, and winners will receive a gift certificate for a 10-12 pound turkey from Tanner’s, just in time for Thanksgiving break.
Teachers who signed up between October 25 and November 6, had one ticket entered into the drawing, and those who created ten or more quizzes on their QW personal or classroom accounts by November 6 had two additional tickets entered in the drawing. QW also threw in a classroom party for the teacher to enroll the most students in QW for the 30-day free trial by the November 7 deadline.
