AVERA, Ga. - Ms. April Rose Walden, 29, of Broad St., entered into rest Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Avera, Ga., with Rev. Curtis Thigpen officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. April is survived by her parents, Charles Richard and Emily Walden and Pam Walden and John Smith; one son, Mason Padgett; two brothers, Chase Walden of Avera and Evan Partin of Beech Island, S.C.; two sisters, Angel (Brent) English of Avera and Ginger (Ryan) Smith of Blythe; her grandparents, Charles and Jenene Walden of Avera; nieces and nephews, Dylan English, Chesney English, Kennedy Smith, and Kortni Smith. Pallbearers are Pat Broxton, Kevin Kitchens, Brandon Walden, John Walden, Stanley Walden, and Ryan Smith. Sheppard Funeral Home, Gibson, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
