Billie Parker Wheatley, age 65 of Lawrenceville, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Funeral Services will be held at 5 PM on Friday, November 27, 2009 in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, with Dr. Lamar Holley and Rev. Inman Houston officiating. Burial will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Good Sheppard Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. A member of First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Mrs. Wheatley was a Clinic Nurse with Dacula Elementary and Freeman's Mill Elementary School. She was a two time cancer survivor and was an active participant in RelayForLife. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert Wayne Wheatley; Daughter and Son-in-law: Amanda and Jeff Warbington, Lawrenceville; Mother: Ruby Parker, Boiling Springs, South Carolina; Sisters and Brother-in-law: Sue Womack, Asheville, North Carolina; Virginia and Boyd Correll, Tryon, North Carolina; Cousin: Mellie and David Motes, Laurens, South Carolina; one niece and four nephews.
