Carlos Dinkens Thomson, Sr. -MONTICELLO - Carlos Dinkens Thomson, Sr., age 87, died Thursday, November 12, 2009. Services 2P.M. Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the Monticello First United Methodist Church, Monticello. Burial: West View Cemetery, Monticello. -Survivors: wife, Doris Boatwright Thomson, Monticello; son and daughter-in-law, Carlos D., Jr. and Teresa Thomson, Monticello; daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Bill Slocumb, Monticello; grandchildren, Sabrina Slocumb, Stefanie Thomson, and Frank Christian; and great grandchild, Hunter James Thomson. -The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Jordan Funeral Home, Monticello. -The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Monticello First United Methodist Church, 651 College Street, Monticello, GA 31064. -Jordan Funeral Home, Monticello.
