Jerry Manning Williams February 3, 1941 - November 27, 2009 COLUMBUS, GA Jerry Manning Williams, 68, a life-long resident of Columbus, passed away at the Columbus Hospice House in the early morning hours of November 27, 2009. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday November 30, 2009 at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery located at the corner of Highway 315 and River Road. Reverend Mickey Adams will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3-5 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus. Mr. Williams was born February 3, 1941 in Columbus, GA to the late Charles and Louise Kimbrell Williams. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Fortson. He also was a U.S. Airforce Veteran and was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Williams. Survivors include his wife, Linda Rice Williams of Fortson; sons, Jerry Charles Williams of Columbus and Steven Williams of Atlanta; daughter, Georgia Jenkins of Columbus; step-sons, Jeff Davis of Cataula and Steven Davis of Shiloh, GA; and 12 grandchildren.
