Family-Placed Death Notice WILSON, Lura Lura Ann Gideon Wilson, age 91, of Snellville, GA went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 23, 2009. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Jimmy & Deborah Wilson of Snellville, GA; granddaughters, Anna Wilson, Sharon (Shannon) Cagle, great granddaughter, Jordan Cagle; sister-in-law, Shirley Gideon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Henry Wilson, Jr. and a son, Larry G. Wilson. Mrs. Wilson was born in Douglasville, GA on March 18, 1918 to Ethliel (Collins) and Albert Alexander Gideon. She was a member of First Baptist Loganville and formerly attended the Glen Haven Baptist Church. She was a Homemaker, participated with "The Young at Heart" at the church, and was devoted to visiting home-bound families, and those that were sick and in need with her son, Brother Jimmy. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and devoted friends. The Service Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Lura G. Wilson will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel conducted by Rev. Jimmy Wilson and Pastor Ronnie Kendall. Graveside Service will be conducted at the Douglasville City Cemetery at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
