Marion Woodson February 10, 1931 - November 15, 2009 CUSSETA, GA Marion Woodson, age 78 of 104 Baker St., Cusseta, GA, died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at his residence. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009 at St. Paul CME Church (Hwy. 26) in Buena Vista, GA. Burial will follow in St. Paul CME Cemetery, Buena Vista, GA. Visitation is today, Friday, November 20, 2009, according to T.V. Williams Funeral Home. Mr. Woodson was born February 10, 1931 in Buena Vista, GA to the late Johnnie Mae Walton and the late Robert Henry Woodson. He was a retired iron worker for local Union of New York. He was a steward, Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent at St. Paul CME Church. He attended public schools in Buena Vista, GA and was a resident in Chattahoochee Co. for 33 years. He is survived by his wife, Gladys (Slaughter) Woodson; a son, Lawrence Thrope; three daughters, Barbara Woodson, Betty King and Nancy Woodson; four brothers, Leroy, Charles, Otis, and Albert Woodson; four sisters, Bernice Gardner, Ethel Baker, Annie Ruth Clark and Earlene Woodson; and five grandchildren, Lakesha, Julious, John, Latrese and Savion.
