Myra Nell Williams January 11, 1949 - November 10, 2009 COLUMBUS, GA Mrs. Myra Nell "Mynell" Williams, 60, of 723 Baltic Ct. Columbus died on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Macedonia Baptist Church. The Rev. Jesse Reese Jr., Pastor, will officiate and final disposition will be cremation, according to Sconiers Funeral Home, 836 5th Ave. Columbus. Mrs. Williams was born January 11, 1949 in Columbus, the daughter of John Frank Sr. and Mozell Russell Mathis, she retired as a nurse at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital. Mrs. Williams was a faithful member of the Macedonia Baptist Church where she served as choir member, Mission in Action, and kitchen staff. She was a 1967 graduate of Carver High School. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Williams of Columbus; a son, Gregory (April) Williams of McDonough, GA; four brothers, John Frank Mathis Jr. of Midland, GA, Felton (Linda) Mathis and Warren Mathis, both of Columbus, and Clifford Mathis of Athens, GA; two sisters, Gladys Fortune of Columbus and Bertice (Marvin) Florence of Brown Summitt, NC; three grandchildren and other relatives.
