Family-Placed Death Notice WALDEN, Page Page Williams Walden March 9, 1947 ~ November 22, 2009 Page Walden is now resting in the arms of Jesus after a truly remarkable, arduous battle against cancer. She never let cancer define her life. Her creed was "life might not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here, we might as well dance!" Page was always ready to travel, hike, bike; go to concerts, plays and restaurants. Her favorite thing was doing whatever the grand children wanted to do. She was a teacher for 30 years with 20 of these years being devoted to working with special education kids. Her focus was continually on others, as she detested drawing attention to herself. Page is survived by her husband of 39 years, Dan; daughter Katy Tubesing and her husband, Mark, and their children: Jake, Landon, Lilla, and Hope; son, Zack Walden, and his wife, Niki, and their son, Riley. A memorial service will be held at Dunwoody United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall . In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her honor to Friends of Refugees, Attn: Page Walden Memorial Fund, PO Box 548, Clarkston, GA 30021, or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by Wages & Sons, Stone Mountain Chapel 770/469-9811.
