Wooten Music Co. AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, November 23, 2009, at the Georgia War Veteran's Home, Mr. Wyman G. "Bill" Wooten, 89, husband of the late Christine "Chris" Wooten. Mr. Wooten was a native and lifelong resident of the CSRA. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta and was the owner of Wooten Music Company. Mr. Wooten was a certified Allen Digital Organ Technician and Electronic Repairman. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Staff Sergeant. Family members include his son: William Gerald "Jerry" Wooten of Evans; granddaughter: Erin Kathleen Wooten of Augusta; and brother: Larry Wooten of Augusta. Mr. Wooten was predeceased by his son: Thomas Allan Wooten; and daughter: Patricia Ann Wooten. Funeral services are private.
