MIDNIGHT CLEAR from Dahlonega, GA

(CBS) They may just be the most sought-after band you've never heard of.

At least, not yet.

After growing in popularity in northern Georgia and completing a pair of overseas tours in the northwestern part of the United Kingdom, the Atlanta-metropolitan-based rock band Midnight Clear is now looking to expand their American fan base - and they intend to use the set of The Early Show as their springboard.

The four-member group, who came out with a self-titled CD last year, will perform live on "The Early Show" on Sept. 24 after being crowned the Ultimate Finalist on the program's 13-week-long competition "Living Room … LIVE!: Battle of the Bands" segment.

The three-year-old band was named the viewers' favorite by taking in 46 percent of the overall vote in a CBSNews.com online poll. The other two finalists were indie rock band After Never and Southern soul band Big G and the Total Control Band.
