The 2006 Jay Cullen/Share the Road 5k is this Saturday, April 29, 2006, and the race committee is very excited about the large number of pre-registered runners who have signed up thus far. The spring weather should entice even more folks to don their running shoes and head out this Saturday...all for a great cause.

Jay Cullen was an asset to his community. He was young at heart with a deep sense of integrity. Jay was an avid runner and cyclist who RAN A GOOD RACE THROUGH LIFE. He was prepared to meet his Lord that spring-like day in January 2004 when he was tragically killed while riding his bike. It is our hope that this Memorial run will inspire us to be our best and will raise our awareness as we SHARE THE ROAD!

Register online at: www.active.com or www.rungeorgia.com

After April 17 -- $20 for pre-registered runners

Race Day Registration: 7am

Race Starts: 8am

*Kids Fun Run: 8:45*

This year, race proceeds benefit First Baptist Church Youth and the Cumming-Forsyth Miracle League. The Miracle League's goal is to provide a multi-sports complex at Coal Mountain Park for children and adults with disabilities. It is the organization's desire to provide a safe and fun environment where disabled people can build their self-esteem and relationships with other team members and the surrounding community.
