(FARGO)--Residents can now stay informed about City happenings via Twitter at www.twitter.com/cityoffargo. This growing form of social networking will allow the City of Fargo to keep residents informed about a variety of topics including road closures, City events and emergency alerts. As of January 25, the City has sent 22 tweets and has gained 443 followers. Since Twitter restricts tweet size to 140 characters or less we encourage residents to visit the City of Fargo Web site, www.cityoffargo.com, for more detailed information about each tweet. The Fargo Fire Department and Fargo Cass Public Health also use Twitter in an effort to keep residents up to date on important health and safety related topics.
