The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a frost advisory, which will be in effect from midnight tonight till 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27.

Low temperatures tonight will drop into the mid- and upper-30s. This will be cold enough to produce widespread frost.

A frost advisory means that frost is expected to develop during the growing season. Those with agricultural interests are advised to harvest or protect tender vegetation. Also, potted plants normally left outdoors should be covered or brought inside away from the cold.
