Each member of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsors a monthly meeting open to all members of the community. The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give Board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.
Board members have set the following meeting dates for April 2006:

April 17, 7 p.m.
Conley Hills Elementary School

April 17, 6 p.m.
Seaborn Lee Elementary School
Liz Hausmann, District 5
April 17, 10 a.m.
Shakerag Elementary School
Zenda Bowie, District 6
April 17, 6:30 p.m.
Banneker High School
Julia Bernath, District 7
April 14, 9:30 a.m.
Woodland Charter Elementary School
The members of the Fulton County Board of Education have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few Boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
About the Fulton County School System. The Fulton County School System is the fourth largest school system in Georgia. More than 80,000 students attend 90 schools in the cities of Alpharetta, College Park, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville, Mountain Park, Palmetto, Roswell, Sandy Springs, and Union City. The district also serves students in unincorporated Fulton County.
