Riverwood High School has been added to Newsweek Magazine’s annual list of top-ranking public high schools in the United States. The magazine named six Fulton high schools to the list earlier in May.

Due to changes in Newsweek’s list, the original rankings of the schools have changed. The magazine now lists Northview High School (No. 427), Centennial High School (No. 484), Chattahoochee High School (No. 460), North Springs High School (No. 566), Milton High School (No. 532), Riverwood High School (No. 132), and Roswell High School (No. 472).

The entire report is posted online at the Newsweek web site.

Newsweek ranked the schools according to a ratio that takes the total number of 2005 Advanced Placement and/or International Baccalaureate tests divided by the number of graduating seniors.
