Governor Sonny Perdue has selected Roswell High School as the location for a bill-signing ceremony for SB 468 – the High Performance Principals Bill. The event takes place on Wednesday, April 19, 9:30 a.m., in the Roswell High School gymnasium.

The High Performance Principals Bill provides $3 million to recruit high performance principals to approximately 300 Georgia middle and high schools identified as being in need of improvement. The money provides incentives to recruit high performing principals to these schools and also funds $1.5 million to the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement (GLISI) to expand the scale of their leadership training. Sen. Dan Moody, who represents the Roswell area, was one of the sponsors of the bill.

Individuals wishing to attend the ceremony should be seated no later than 9:15 a.m. Roswell High School is located at 11595 King Road, Roswell, Georgia.
