Each member of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsors a monthly meeting open to all members of the community. The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give Board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

Board members have set the following meeting dates for January 2007:

Linda Schultz, District 1, and Julia Bernath, District 7

January 12, 9:30 a.m.

Holcomb Bridge Middle School

Katie Reeves, District 2

January 16, 9:30 a.m.

Summit Hill Elementary School

Gail Dean, District 3

January 17, 7 p.m.

Parklane Elementary School

Linda Bryant, District 4

January 16, 6 p.m.

Sandtown Middle School

Ashley Widener, District 5

January 12, 1 p.m.

Taylor Road Middle School

Catherine Maddox, District 6

January 16, 6:30 p.m.

The members of the Fulton County Board of Education have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few Boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
