“We’re very proud to be offering the educational excellence for which The Art Institute of Atlanta is known to students in Nashville,” said President Janet S. Day. The Art Institute of Atlanta also operates a branch campus in Washington, D.C.

With the opening of The Art Institute of Tennessee-Nashville, there are now 33 campuses in The Art Institutes system, with a total enrollment of 49,000 students as of fall 2005.

Initially, The Art Institute of Tennessee-Nashville will offer bachelor’s degree programs in audio production, culinary arts management, digital media production, graphic design, interior design, and interactive media design. Associate’s degree programs will be offered in audio production, culinary arts, graphic design, and interactive media design. Diplomas will be awarded in culinary arts in two areas: skills and baking & pastry.

“The college will offer curricula that complement the demand for arts education in the Tennessee region, as well as Southern Kentucky and Northern Alabama,” says John Mazzoni, president of The Art Institutes. “We are confident that the school will enable students to achieve their professional aspirations while making a meaningful contribution to their communities.”
