To be eligible for the county competition, bus drivers had to successfully compete in the local Road-e-os in north and south Fulton County. The top six drivers from each end of the county, as well as two top-scoring “rookie” drivers, will participate in the April 29 contest.
Local police and fire officials will serve as competition judges. Cash awards will be given to the top six winners, and the top four will receive Road-e-o jackets. Trophies will be awarded to the top two winners, who will go on to compete at the district Road-e-o on May 20 in Cherokee County.
In the event of rain, the Road-e-o will be rescheduled to May 6.
