Bring Your Employees Together to Help Atlanta Seniors on May 6

Volunteer today to take part in Senior Citizen Services’ one day SWEEP! event – May 6, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. SWEEP! is a one-day, focused, high-impact event where hundreds of volunteers perform home maintenance projects for seniors. This year’s SWEEP! will target 10 homes in the 30318 zip code and will host an after-party for volunteers, homeowners, their guests, and donors at the Dogwood Neighborhood Senior Center.

It’s Not Hard & We Need Your Help: Whether it is painting, mowing a lawn, or doing some minor carpentry work, your Volunteer Team will make a tremendous difference in the lives of Atlanta’s older adults. SWEEP! benefits the HOMES program (Home Owner Maintenance and Enhancement for Seniors) of Senior Citizen Services which annually helps over 200 seniors stay in their own homes and live more independently.

Want to Be a Sponsor?: Our generous sponsors enable SCS to continue delivering greatly needed services year-round to Atlanta’s Seniors with the HOMES program. In fact last year’s SWEEP sponsors enabled SCS to improve homes for 30 Atlanta seniors.
